Much Talked Debate

Well I guess everyone watched last nite debate between Anwar Ibrahim & Datuk Saberi Chik. Since I am in nobody side, I just wonder a few things. First I think it was brave of Anwar Ibrahim to face the whole Malaysia where he is supposed to surrender himself to police. Second, he delivered his debates with all facts and figures while the other person was not. I mean why he kept on emphasizing on how Anwar ruled before, how that time was and bla, bla on the irrelevant things? Did he even know what was the topic of the debate all about? Anwar could give the facts and figures on why, how, what should we do to prevent further / supposed not to increase the oil price. Why government subsidize? That particular Minister kept on telling all the audience that this is not Anwar's era. OMG! He didn't know what to say actually.

When I watched the debate halfway, I pitied the other guy. Where Anwar can stand up straight and full of confident talking about economy, he on the other side only talked about politics. He was seen not-so-up-to-Anwar-level. I mean how could you put someone in a debate not on the same background? Anwar was a TPM and Financial Minister whereas Datuk Saberi just been appointed as Minister. He doesn't even have enough experience as Anwar's. And yes, in my opinion, Anwar looked intelligent. The way he talked, the he explained and the way he brought himself up. Good for you Anwar.

As for you Datuk Saberi, I am sorry to say that I am so disappointed you have made yourself available on behalf of Malaysian Government for this debate. You are so below my expectation or perhaps some others on your arguments.

By the way, on previous N3, on the road blocks and massive jam... I wonder did the police do that kind of road blocks when Sharlinie, Nurin Jazlin and some other kids been reported missing? Think about it.
