Burfdays

Yesterday I had to take emergency leave. Thanks to Amalin's teacher for giving out the letter to get the report card on Friday, 27th June 2008. And my princess who was so obsessed with her pressie (they had a burfday party at school dat day and i ordered 30 cupcakes for her), has given me the letter on Sunday nite at exactly at 9pm. And actually my mom highlighthed it to me and I asked her why she hasn't given me the letter earlier. And her answer? Surat? Surat apa Mummy? I mentioned which letter and she said... ooooo entah.. Tension!!!

And this is my conversation with Amalin after I came back from work on last Friday. I was feeling excited to ask her on the cakes. I have no chance of looking at the cake as the cakes were delivered directly to her school. Thanks Kak Mas.

Me : Amalin, suka tak kek yg mummy belikan tu?

Amalin : Suka tapi kecik sangat la mummy.

Me : Ye ke... Cantik tak?

Amalin : Cantik, tapi kecik la mummy.

Me : hmm.. Amalin makan tak kek tu?

Amalin : Tak... Amalin makan love dia je.

Me : Kenapa tak makan?

Amalin : Tak sedap.

Me : Ye ke? Mummy makan dulu okay je. Kawan2 Amalin makan tak?

Amalin : Makan.

Me : Kek tu ada lebih? (Kak Mas mentioned to me, she will bake extra for me and will tell Amalin to bring the cake back for me)

Amalin : Ada. Tapi Amalin tak bawak balik. Teacher ambik, Abg Zul (the van driver) ambik. Amalin malas nak bawak balik.

Me : La.. mummy nak tengok.

Amalin : Ye ke?

Me : (Senyum je la... Sabo je ngan budak ni.)

Then I went upstairs for Maghrib & Isyak prayer. Then I came down, she was still mentioning about the cakes she has given to her teachers and Abg Zul...

And since I cannot eat the cupcakes, I decided to bake a cake on my EL. So decided to bake a choc cake. I always feel less stressed when I have successfully bake a cake. Such satisfying feeling!
