Last Friday, me, Intan and Mas decided to go to Ampang Park to fill our 1 hour lunch break for window shopping (really?) since we had a heavy breakfast sponsored by Mr Razlin. Thanks so much Bro!
When we went down to get a cab, the queue was very long and we decided to wait at the other end. So we walked the opposite way we always do. Then we saw a cab, Intan was shouting for the cab to stop but I did nothing. She said, "Tak berfungsi langsung!" to me. We told her that the cab already had a passenger inside so she kept quiet. Then another cab came and I waived like I never waived before and fortunately he saw me and waived back (asking me to come). So there we were in the cab.
Once at Ampang Park, we went around at the kiosk and find nothing interesting to look at. Suddenly when we were at the front foyer... the thing we love! Books on sale. So we went through and I took Memoirs Of Geisha even though I have watched the movie. Browse again, found another one. Then stop at buying two books which cost me only RM31.90 and saw Sodoku book, bought one for Hubby.
It seemed Intan has not yet stopped browsing the books so I decided to join her. This one is most dangerous! I found another book and bought it... Arrggghh... Cannot resist. So spending almost RM50, decided it was time to leave the place. We headed to KFC (I usually don't like it, but that day it looks like delicious) for our tapau lunch. So there goes the window shopping trip.
Then we waited for the cab to go back. In front of us is one old Chinese man waiting for a cab as well. While we were waiting, not far from us, a bit further ahead, we saw one couple trying to hail a cab! He tried to cheat by standing ahead of us.... So when they came nearer to us, I bluntly told them that they have to queue after us if he wants the cab. Then they decided not to wait and went somewhere else. By this time, the old man already got a cab.
Then came a group of ladies wanted to hail a cab as well. Instead of queueing behind us, they walked thru' (like we are ghost) us and tried to hail a cab! I was so very pissed off that I decided to go ahead of them and just hail the cab. And at last! We managed to get a cab after so much of Intan's persuasian (instruction actually). The cab driver actually heading to a nearby masjid for Friday prayer.
Once in the office, we feasted our self with the KFC.
