Ketiak Oh Ketiak!

Last weekend hubby and me decided to watch a movie. Since we can't even remember the last movie we watched. We do have some wish list movies to watch but because of the time and some other factors, we couldn't make it happen.

As you can guessed, the movie we wanted to watch is Iron Man 2 but we couldn't get the ticket even sitting right in front of the screen. Since I've watched Losers movie trailer in a TV programme, I suggested to hubby. We managed to get the couple seats.

While waiting the cinema ready to be seated, we queued for popcorn and some other things. End up, the food actually cost more than the ticket! And while we waited for our food, there were some commotion coming from behind of us. It seemed that a group of gang was having some problem with another. The other gang were actually patrons of the cinema. The bad gang came right behind of the good one and start punching him till they nailed him to the poster box. The consequences? The glass for the box shattered which irritates the theater manager. How do I know which is bad and which is good? I'm making assumptions. Because the patrons did not actually fought really hard. He managed to punch back few times and walked away straight to the movie theater. While the other kept on calling names and eventually walked away as well. Thank god!

When our turn to go into the movie, we managed to find our seats just nice and there were a young Malay couple. Both smiled at us. And we settled ourselves. Suddenly this conversation striked between us:

Hubby : You ada bau masam tak?
Me : Bau masam as in bau ketiak ke?
Hubby : Ha aa.
Me : Ada, ada (impatiently agreeing).

Then I looked to his side and saw the boy actually put his hands upwards and resting it behind his head. Now we know where the smell come from. And being Mr Hubby, he is very impatient in this kind of thing.

Hubby : Bau ni sampai ke tempat u ke? (I was seating one seat further from that boy).
Me : Yup!

And since he couldn't stand it at all and movie has yet to start, he directly said this, "Bau masam la woi. Tutup la yang mana patut." Thank God again the boy understood. And the girl selamba sardin peluk the boy! Huh! If I were her, sorry!

We managed to watch the movie till the end without any more distraction of smells. However, Hubby said the boy was actually fondling the girl's breast and he managed to give them few stares. Ha ha ha....

The movie is entertaining. I wouldn't mind to watch it another round.

22nd Movie

No, not mine 22nd movie watching. But 22nd movie of James Bond. So far haven't missed any of James Bond movie. Especially when Pierre Brosnan was the James Bond. Even though I cannot remember what was the last movie about. So this time round, we gonna get to see Bond's rough side. He just killed he felt need to be killed. Which irritate Mdm M so very much.

And thankfully we got the tickets a day earlier. Otherwise we will be sitting right in front of the screen. As expected, it's going to be a full house at any theatre and anytime. So, go watch it if you are a James Bond fan or not.

Talking about Bond, where the heck is my friend who use this last name as his nickname?

Budak Kelantan

Last Saturday, Mr H suggested we go and watch Budak Kelantan movie or as said in TGV IVR, Kelantan Boys. He he he... I don't realize they actually translate the movie title if we selected English as our preferred language. I bet you all would be saying we go and watch the movie because we are from Kelantan then you are totally right. We went to watch it at TGV Sunway Pyramid together with my younger sister. There were not so many patrons. I guess because of the language used in the movie. Not many people can understand Kelantanese dialect. So if anyone of you still interested to watch it, you may do so as there are translation in Bahasa Malaysia & English.

Anyway, back to the movie. I'm not going to give any review... Just on my opinion. Don't worry. The movie is all about 3 main characters. Azhar (best known as Jaha), Buchek and Nor. Jaha is the bad character in the movie. His life is more on western side. Has been Americanized (ada ke word cam ni?). He raped and sell women / girls. His dialogue was this, "Rezeki aku murah ngan perempuan ni". So drank cough syrup just like normal drink, pil kuda, belasah orang... that's what he do.

Buchek is the good one. Too good to be true though! And I'm wondering, ada lagi jejaka cam ni? Mesti ada, cuma susah nak jumpa I guess. He never fail to perform solat in whatever situation he is in. He has a girlfriend named Nor. The relationship was a serious one. So one day, he met Jaha. Jaha was his childhood friend. Jaha since kid was a problem one. He was sent to Henry Gurney. And never thought of leaving all the bad things behind. He was comfortable at his current state. Since they were apart for almost 13 years, Jaha invited Buchek to sleep over at his house. He introduce cough syrup and gambling to Buchek. He tried to kidnap a girl for a purpose of rape but Buchek has let the girl go. He was so pissed of for what Buchek has done. He hitted and left him in the middle of road.

Unsatisfied that he cannot get a girl, he went out and saw a girl he liked. He flirt with the girl but the girl get so irritated wit h him. And yes, that girl is Buchek's girl, Nor. Nor was so angry when Buchek invited Jaha for a drink and not showing any emotion of anger because Jaha tried to woo her. During that scene, it is so obvious Jaha wanted Nor so much. He kept on looking at Nor and Buchek realized this. When they went back home, Jaha called Buchek he was sorry he left him and sorry he has mistakenly wooed Nor. And as I said Buchek was the good one, forgave him. He even persuaded Nor to be Jaha's girl much. Of course Nor rejected the proposal.

In the midst of persuading Nor to accept Jaha, so much had happened and one fine day, Jaha was wanted by police and he was chased until he met with an accident which has cost him his life. Buchek was like telling Nor that he was like a bug (Jaha) chasing a light (Nor) to become a better person. Unfortunately, the light refused to light somebody's else life.

In a way, it is quite a good movie as it is a first attempt by the Director.

My opinion.. the scenario not necessarily happened to Kelantanese. It can happen to everyone. But there were some typical Kelantanese attitude in the movie. All in all, I gave 3 stars out of 5.
