Benefits of Alfalfa

Ok, now I'm referring to my earlier post which what did I consume for detoxification. But before I go on, let me tell you, I've tried few products for these detoxification. I've tried in tea type and pills. It did work but only for few times I consumed. Later on it seemed doesn't effect me at all.

So I stopped detoxification for a while. But I know I need something. I make my checks and asked around. Until a friend of mine said, she consumed Shaklee products. To be specific Alfalfa. She said in the same time as well, she consumed a basic set of slimming products. It consists of Lecithin and Alfalfa.

At that point of time, I wasn't thinking of slimming yet. WELL, I knew I need it. But let's focus on the detox process first. I've read somewhere, to start consuming supplements, we need to detox first then only the nutrients from the supplements will take place in our body.

Then I start Google the information of this Alfalfa. Not only from Shaklee website from others as well. Most are listing out the same benefits. And what surprised me was, from one single product, there are a lot of benefits! So I have made it simple and easy for you, these are the benefits from Alfalfa:
  1. aids in digestion (contains 8 digestive enzymes)
  2. is a natural diuretic
  3. anti-inflammatory
  4. anti-arthritic
  5. antihistamine (contains 3 known antihistamines)
  6. heals ulcers
  7. used for allergies
  8. relieves stomach upset
  9. stimulates bile flow
  10. anti-cancer
  11. detoxifier
  12. nutritive
  13. lowers cholesterol (binds to bile acids to lower cholesterol)
  14. anti - bacterial
  15. improves glucose tolerance
  16. binds with heavy metals and removes them from your system
  17. protects from radiation
  18. shrinks plaque in arteries
  19. helps gout
  20. regulates blood sugar level
  21. helps control body odor - smelly feet and bad breath
  22. aids back disc repair
  23. aids healing of heel spurs
  24. kills some bacteria and viruses
  25. improves health and vigor
  26. high in protein, fiber, vitamins & minerals
  27. has no known toxicity
After asking my friend on the price, it surprised me again. It is affordable. So since I think it is time for me to slim down, I paired it with Lechithin. I don't believe in slimming products that can slim you down so fast.

After few months I've consumed Alfalfa, it does still performed the task I've expected it to do. Detoxification. On other things, I really can't testify as I don't really know. Alhamdullilah, so far I don't have other health problems except the bulging fats of here and there. Hehehehe....

So, if you are interested to know more about this, do contact me and we have a chat on it.

Our Annual Activity

Working in the current department, we have the opportunity to go to Singapore for our annual dinner. When annual, means, yes, every year. Except few years ago they say they tried to have in Malaysia but it was not workable. As our division is quite big over there and being we are the smallest group so we get the opportunity to go there instead. Yes, sound so glamorous to have dinner in Singapore but trust me, its tiring.

Tiring because we travel few hours before the dinner start, so if the flight delay a bit, then that's it. Rush to hotel, get ready, by 6.30pm to be in the hall. Normally they finish by 12am. So if you still have some energy, you can go out after that. Next morning, normally they'll book the earliest flight possible and workable. So by 8am everybody already having breakfast. Then off to airport.

Prior to that, we have to prepare a performance as requested by our counterpart there. They also have some performances as well. Since the three countries, Singapore, Malaysia & China having 1-2 performances each, the Director said it will be a mini concert.

I was again asked to do some thinking and creativity for the performance. And to stage with about 16 members on one go, is very challenging. There are so many attitudes to rub in and to blend. One to avoid shyness, stage fright, the attitude of just do it and all sorts are the factors that makes the entire process tiring. Seriously!

But since the instructions came from the big boss, all MUST participate, then they are left with no choices at all. This is when the "nak tak nak" attitude came in. We have about 5 weeks to practice. And only once in a week. That's normally happen on Friday.

Nevertheless, we did somehow enjoyed the night. The only setback for this year dinner was the emcee. He was not as entertaining as the emcee in the previous year. He didn't really create the excitement of the dinner. This year we have Happy Fei Fei as the invited performer. She's good.

So here are some of the photos you may want to see.

All in all, most of us won a lucky draw. Me myself won a traveler adaptor. I'm happy because I can throw it in my back and go. My fren won a steamer. So I think the whole night he was thinking how is he going to bring it back as he needs to carry his guitar. Hehehehe... But since we are flying in with MAS, then we decided he should check it in. Lets use the facility when its free, right?

And since the flight coming home is a bit late and we were early, we decided to have a self tour in Changi Airport. Our gate is in Terminal 2, so we took the Sky Train to explore Terminal 1. Nothing much there except for the Hard Rock Cafe Shop. Then we hop on to Terminal 3, nothing there also. So we decided to go back again to Terminal 2. There are a lot of things to do there actually. They have an entertainment centre for flyers. They have PS3 stations, Online Gaming, XBox, Mini Movie Theater, a place just to plug in your charger for your gadgets and also a Sunflower Garden.

These are among the views from Sunflower Garden

Alright, I knew I'm owing you about what I consume in previous post. Just be patience with me. I'll update.

Things Happen For A Reason

My career didn't start as how I want it. All those movies and dramas (mind me, but especially Malay soap operas) telling graduates directly or indirectly you'll be getting a good job and your own room when you work is very far reach dreams. Well, sadly to admit, I was one of the dreamers. But, I never believe you'll straight away be a manager with own room.

I graduated as an average student (yes, I study not so hard but play very hard 😝). It was in 1998.  While I was struggling to finish off my last paper, my mind was thinking about my father whom at that time is struggling with diabetes and cardiac problem. He was being diagnosed of the heart problem in 1986. My goal was only one, finish my paper and to go back straight to my hometown. And I did just that. That was somewhere in July.

When I reached home, he was not in good condition. His friend asked him to go to HUSM for better check-up options. So he did. He was admitted immediately with the same diagnosis but with better options of medicine. My everyday routine was morning fetch my mum from hospital, brought her home then go to hospital again to bring lunch for my father.

I'll stay for a while till 3pm. Back home to check on my little sister then off to hospital again in the evening till the end of visiting hours. My father was on medical leave till December. That was when my graduation ceremony is. I didn't want to attend because I didn't want to leave him and my mom. But he told me, it was a once in a lifetime experience, so take the chance and just go. I took his advice. I went back after the ceremony.

He started working in January 1999. I became his chauffeur. If he hadn't been sick, he would rather not. I'm not a bad driver, if that's what you think. He didn't trust women driver. Slowly after that he tried to drive on his own.

By late January, most of the time he did his own driving. And I half heartedly asked him whether I can go to KL to find a job. It is very hard to find one in KB. He gave his consent and I went. After a week in KL, I finally got an interview. That night I called him to share the experience. But in returned, he told me he was on his way to clinic because he's not feeling well. My uncle drove for him because my mom doesn't know how to drive.

I feel uneasy when he told me that. In about half hour after that, he told me now he's on the way to HUSM because he is not satisfied with the doctor at the clinic. Now, my heart beating very fast. Just another half hour, my mom called me. "Lila, Bapak dah meninggal". That was the exact word spoken with such calmness. And I cried and cried and feeling remorse why did I ever leave him.

Called up my elder sister and made all the necessary arrangement of going back. And ever since then, I never thought I'll be back again in KL.

Due to my father's sickness, I knew right then I have to take care of my own health. Slowly I reduced sugar intake which I really don't mind. I'm not a sweet tooth person. But being a Kelantanese, I cannot resist the temptation of having nasi belauk, nasi kerabu, laksam and all sorts of menu which I rather not list it down as someone might be drooling.

Yes, I admit I am a big fan of eating but somehow managed to be choosy. I don't like fruits. I don't like milk. I don't like fruit cake. So eventually my metabolic rate dropping due to aging. No... I'm not old. Hehehe. I am only 38. So what happen when you gradually lost your metabolic rate? Yes.... You gained weight.

My gain weight is a bit humiliating but not motivational enough for me to lost it. People think I'm pregnant. Yup, I do look like one. Nevertheless, I have this advantage of people offering me seats when I'm in the train. I'm a happy person. Don't blame me. It's quite tiring to stand in the train from where I board and arrive.

So, in searching the right product for a slimmer me, I ask a friend of mine. She said she consuming few products of Shaklee and it's working for her. I give it a thought. Done some researching on my own and decide to give a try.
What did I try I'll continue in next entry.

Till then.

Let's Start Fresh

Yes, I have abandoned my blog since 2012.  Being with a small baby didn't help much for me to write. To start up a computer also time consuming. Sometimes just about to start, baby started crying. Yes, I'm good in complaining. Oh yes! I really have to admit....  I love procrastinating things. I'm really good doing that. Boo for me. And I am making new resolution to be a better person.

So why of all the sudden I start it now? Because I was being asked to do it. Who? From a group of great people I came about to know few months back. If you want to know them, you have just to keep on reading my blog.

That's is the main reason. Another reason would be is I miss to write. I love to write. I love to vent whatever I'm feeling, thinking or anything in writing. I used to have diaries. But I was never consistent. So half of the diary, wait... More than half is actually empty pages.

Alright, before I raving too much of my comeback, let put it into a stop and pray with me I'll continue back soon.

Psst...  Do you know that to write something you actually have to have the mood?

So till then.

A New Baby Coming

I don't forget that I do own a blog. It's just that I don't have the feel to write anything in it. Today, however, I have the urge to write something.

Anyway, I'm on medical leave as I'm in months nine of pregnancy. I don't know why for this time pregnancy, the tiredness is bringing me down. I could no longer sit in the office or at home for such a long hour. My body is aching every where. Only Allah knows how I feel. As I really cannot describe the feeling. Compared to my previous pregnancies, this one is totally different. I was having severe morning sickness. Not only in the morning. Throughout the day. It started immediately when I get to know I was in my 7th weeks. It just getting worse during Ramadhan. In fact, I was admitted for 3 days because of dehydration. I was having the container to support my puke on the way to office and back to home. In the office itself, I don't know how many trips to the loo. My hubby is at his best to accommodate my condition.

I also experienced bleeding when the pregnancy just turned to its 8th months. Again, I was admitted. But Alhamdullillah, baby is actively kicking and somersaulting in my womb. So it is not the time for the baby to come out yet. I was given the injection to mature the baby's lung. I just cannot remember what is the name. And that injection is very, no.. VERY painful. Thanks to Allah,  I just need 2 of it. I can still remember the pain though.

And now I'm at home. Waiting. Having here and there of contraction. I'm going to see my Gynae this coming Saturday. If all goes well, I might be having the baby somewhere next week. Perhaps. But hubby is not around. He is now in Mecca, performing his Umrah. Yes, everyone is asking why did he choose this date to go. He is sponsored by his parents so it seems he didn't has much choice but to say yes. Its okay I said. He is going to somewhere for worshiping Allah. And who knows, Allah might granted his prayer to have a baby boy. Yes, doctor has scanned and he said its going to be another girl. Whatever the gender of the baby is, we are thankful.

That is all I can say at this moment. My mind is quite numb these few days as I really feel ache everywhere and very tired. Have great days ahead!

PCOS Still Going On

I know such a long stop after my last post. So hook-up with work and housework. But still going to see my gynae for my follow-up on PCOS problem. If you want to know about this PCOS, read it here. The last one I had a session was this morning. Of all the days in a week, it got to be today (a long wait because Saturday is when everybody who is working to see him) because of the last hormone pill he gave me in the last session. The pill is clomiphene. He wanted to test out whether my eggs will grow when the pill is taken.

He was happy to see that one of my eggs is grown to an acceptable size. Yes, one of the eggs. I got plenty of it. That is why its called poly-cyst. He explained about my situation and what he'll do next. He said, people with poly-cyst chances of getting pregnant is higher than those who suffered endometriosis. Or in layman term, senggugut. He said, if it is not being controlled, those with poly-cyst tends to have twins / triplets. He gave me a shot of hormone. I cannot remember what was the jab all about. He explained. But cannot remember. Aiyoo.. me with my short term memory loss!

He told me to have an urine test if I don't get my regular menses. Otherwise, to see him again in my next cycle.

Friends, I'm begging you for those who are having irregular menstrual cycle, do seek advice from your gynae. It is a common problem among Asian women. My gynae told me, most people think it is normal not to have menstrual in a month. However to young women, it is not. It is always good to have earliest treatment rather than its too late. Not having regular menstrual can lead to so many problems to us women, especially if you have family members who are suffering heart problem, diabetic or high blood pressure.

If I were pregnant this time round, hopefully its going to be a boy. I already have 3 girls. Pray for me friends.

Bored and Sweaty Situation

After 2 days duelling with a very dull trainer, I was so glad at the end the course ended. The modules of the course are fascinating enough for us to choose it. But we were really disappointed with the trainer. He doesn't know how to attract the class, he bragged about himself, he can do magic to everything he touches. And it will turn out very successful. Be it in recession or not, he'll do well. We were not amazed at all!

And we came in this morning, there were some of us who were late, thanks to the Federal Territory Day Rehearsal, he showed us videos on his daughter's singing in some occasions. Not only that, he actually gave the key word to search in YouTube! Oh god..... help him please.

When the training ended, I was trying to call dearest Mr H. He was not replying my sms... he was not even picking up the phone calls even though I've tried so many times. So normally when this thing happen, he's sleeping. Yes, he is always in a dead log sleep. A very dead log. Don't be surprised if he talked to you with open eyes but actually he's sleeping. Some of his friends already kena this thing. When he attended courses outstation and woke him up the next morning. He responded the correct answer to your questions but he's actually sleeping.

I hitched a ride with my friend till KL Sentral. Took Komuter from there until Shah Alam. This is the first time I got to try the supposedly pink coach. The coach I got is actually blue with pink woman figure sticker. And.... I managed to fight to get into the coach. I actually stucked at the stainless steel pole. I need not to use my hand to grip anything. I can just stand there and not moving even when  the driver brakes. It was that full loaded of people. One thing I'm thankful enough, I got to breathe decent air. No sweaty armpit smell, no one had let go windy gas (I cannot imagine if someone had eaten tempoyak and sorts and decided it was about time to let the wind pass) and no smelly hair. I reached Shah Alam safe and sound and quite happy.

And I'm supposed to do the finishing touch to my Leadership Assignment which is due tomorrow. But here I am, cannot wait to write down the experience I had today.

Selamat malam everyone!

New Year New House

Our previous house we rented has cracked to the max. Yes, it is literally cracked. Especially the wall of our master bedroom. We can actually see lights from the staircase. Since we are comfortable living in the neighbourhood, we decided to find a house in the area as well. Despite that there are no school bus for my Amalin who is attending a school in Section 7. Most of them are schooling either in Section 9, 6 & 4. So why did we send Amalin to Section 7? Because the father likes the school. Its still new. Anyway we didn't encounter transportation problem the first few months. Until the bus driver suddenly feels like quitting and he did! And a headache to us as the bus operator couldn't find a replacement. So hubby being sending her to school everyday and sometimes we pick her up from school. Other times, my sister pick her up.

With the new house, a slight change, I'm still putting on hope that everything will turn out well. Even though there is still minor worry of whether things will happen again. I couldn't just put it away because I don't want to be too comfortable when things happen. I want to have firm feet on the ground shall it strike.

Some people which I haven't realize before do makes me feel good about myself. I know I'm being taken care of in nice ways. Just by asking simple question like how am I doing means a lot to me. So I would like to say thank you to these people. You know who you are.

Welcoming The New Year

I've been hooked up with a lot of things. Hence, the abandoned blog. Hooked with work and personal life. 2010 has bring me joy but at the same time a lot of emotional drama. So many unbelievable things happened and yet I believe it happened because of reason. Perhaps Allah is planning something good for me? No one knows. I'm just hoping for the very best.

The things happened I just couldn't put into words. It will remains as part of my life and I have to accept that. Its just that I need to thinnk how to avoid it. Close friends might understand, well, some don't. But everyone has been supportive toward me and I do appreciate it. Some giving me 100% support on the decision I've made and the other percentage might just say, "are you sure you are not regrettting it?". I couldn't guarantee on it. The hope things will work out well is my only chance. Pray for me.

This new beginning of 2011, I'm putting so much hopes of things will get better and better, not for myself but also for everyone. Let us spread happiness everywhere.

Happy New Year to All and May It Birngs You Health, Joy n Prosperity.

Face Masks

My mind being a bit numb for the past few days. Couldn't think whats right or whats wrong. Just a film of memory keeps on playing again and again. As if I press play and then when it has finished, I press rewind button and it starts all over again. But all these reminded me of the masks that I'm wearing or more like I have to wear it.

I have put a brave, happy, nothing happen and all sorts of face masks to hide the deepest feeling inside me. I dare not putting face masks like sad, pity me or that sorts when my dignity is put at stake. But then again, suddenly I remembered, normally emotions shows through eyes. We can't lie what we are actually feeling deep inside. If someone were to look at you straight in the eyes, he/she will eventually ask, tell me what happen.

If the person is your best friend, you'll not hesitate to pour out everything even jeopardizing your dignity. You'll be telling the whole story from A to Z. And being a good listener, she/he will try to help you in anyway. Moral, financial or whatever sorts of support you needed that time.
In my case, I would rather keep it silence. I avoid eye contact, avoid having casual talk with my bff as I don't think I'm ready enough to tell the truth. Nothing but the whole truth. Until when I would keep this silence, I wouldn't know. It doesn't bring me any good. But I just can't help it to pour it out. Its so humiliating.

I'm not expecting you to understand what I'm writing. Its just a reminder for myself for what I've been going through. And yes, it hurts.

Have a great weekends everyone. Enjoy it with your love ones. TTFN.

A Training I Enjoyed Most So Far

This week it started off so good. I attended a 2-days course at The Curve. Interesting place to have a course kan? This course is actually the second part of my 3 modules on leadership. This time round instead of having the normal theory session, we played a board game. The objective of the game is how you are going to sustain your business, where are you leading your business and all sorts of business related.

Its like a monopoly but different concept. Perhaps I could say its like a Donald Trump monopoly? Well, everyone in the course were enjoying the game. For lunch, we had at 2 different places this time. And better taste from the first time we were having the course there. And they served starter and desserts as well. The only thing we hated about the course was.. we have to do an assignment. Yes, for this leadership course, each module has their own assignment that we need to submit. And we have 2 session on coaching to guide us in giving the correct or best answers. Not bad. But it really take time to do it plus the existing office work. I wonder how those who further study manage to do it. Whatever it is, I know I can do it.

Signing off now. Enjoy your weekends folks. TTFN!

End of Honeymoon Time

As the title suggested, today is the end of our honeymoon time. The kids have arrived safely from Kelantan. Alhamdullillah.. But I didn't manage to see them before I'm off to work this morning. So I'm going back straight to home in a while.

While they are gone, we have few activities placed. It started off on Wednesday night on 15th Sept, 2010. We make a double date with my cousins to have steamboat for dinner. She suggested a place in Ampang. It's eat all you can style so for being us, it's so worth it. The place is called Restoran Q Thai Village. You may refer it at this page for telephone no, location map and so on. Click this link. The tom yam soup is superb and it's very spicy. So those who can't stand the spicyness you can take up the normal chicken soup. It's tasty as well. The spread is a lot. They have all kinds of fishball and friends, vege, mushrooms, and seafood. All are fresh. After we have loaded ourselves with the food, my hubby and I were too tired to drive back to Shah Alam. So my cousin, being generous enough, invite us to sleep over at her house. And we agreed so readily. Thanks cous!

So the next morning, everyone woke up very late well, it's more toward the guys who woke up late. As usual the women need to prepare breakfast. So kinda of having brunch. Pancakes with honey, sausages and half-boiled eggs. All are finished within seconds. Huh! As if we have not eaten in such a long time. Then when the stomach has been filled to the max again, our eye lids couldn't be opened wide anymore. Again, everyone dozed off and we have planned to go to Melaka. We scheduled it at 3pm but it only took-off at 5pm. And by that time, we were hungry again. We decided to try out the Triple Cheeseburger. But Mr H missed it. He thought the restaurant is located after the Sg Besi toll. So, there were no more Mc'D along the way. We then decided to have it in Melaka. Since my cousin going to see her long lost teacher who stays in Terendak, we took the Alor Gajah exit. Sadly to say, there were no Mc'D there. Anyone opening up a Mc'D there? We have to settle for KFC.

The burger we longed for.... Sigh...

Then only everyone is smiling and we move on to the next agenda. Meeting up my cousin's long lost teacher. We stay there for about an hour or so. Then next to Mr H's cousin in Bukit Baru. She invite us to eat. Apparently she has cooked Nasi Beriani, Ayam Masak Merah, Dalca, Acar Timun and Kerabu Tomato. Who can resist that? Then at about 10.30pm, we make a move to go back to Melaka.

And along the way exiting to highway, there were about 3-4 Mc'Ds along the road side... How cruel it can be? No.. we did not stop for it. There were no room for triple cheeseburger. We headed straight to KL and we arrived in Shah Alam at 12.30am after sending back my cousins. That's the end of our children less program.

Okay, I'm signing off. Its time to see my precious ones. TTFN! Have a nice weekends!

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Assalamualaikum and hello to all....

My family and I would like to wish all muslim Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and sorry for all the wrongdoings we've done.

I'm back from my short leave. Shall I mention the word "short"? Yes! Definitely. As some people are so lucky to have this whole week off. Jealous? Well, yes but not that much. Thinking that the road will again be jammed. My trip yesterday was smooth. Officially we take-off from Kota Bharu roughly about 7.30pm. Unofficially we left the house at 4.10pm! Where we went? Well, we try to get our stock of serunding. Unfortunately they ran out of stock! Then we headed to buy some other things. Then Mr H wanted to see his friends and we were stuck in the jammed for one and half hours. Ohhh... just don't ask me how do I feel about it... I was simmering nicely inside the car despite of the coldness of the air-conditioning. So I made my own conclusion that just because Mr H needs to see his friends, we were late. And I have to work today. I'm still feeling tired.

Instead of using the Gua Musang-Kuala Lipis route, we decided to use the Lojing-Simpang Pulai route. Less vehicles there. Less 10 vehicles in total. Then at around 12pm, my cousin called me from Cameron Highlands asking us to join them there. So since we were hungry, Mr H agreed to climb the highland with our new Savvy. And I could say I'm 100% recommending the car to anyone who would like to purchase compact cars. The car can easily climb the hills, petrol saving and the best part, it doesn't fail you when you are handling the cornering. But, being a national car, there are still some hiccups which at the moment I can still manage not to have it. We reached Tanah Rata about 12.40pm and finding a place to eat at that hour is a very hardwork. At last we end up at the mamak there. That's the only place available. Unfortunately most of the food has gone....

My cousin and her husband was trying to persuade me to sleep there and took today's off. They rented an apartment and have extra bedroom. And start listing all the good things we can do overthere. However, I was behaving like a saint last night and insisted that we shall be leaving to KL soon. And they were not happy.

We left Cameron about 3.15am. And we reached Shah Alam about 5.30am. We have a quick nap just to let the body rest for a while then off Mr H send me to work. And I am late for work today. I reached office at about 9.30am. And I am so hungry!

Alright, I'm signing off now... So those who are still in kampung, have a safe journey back. And don't over eat during the open houses invitations! TTFN...

Memories Lingering

I was waiting for my husband to pick me up the other day at one of the LRT stations. And there was a group of college students chit chatting among themselves. I think their issue was how to spend that evening together. I'm not going to tell story about them. It's just how I remembered myself when I was at their age. The college years or the student life.

I enjoyed my student life so much. Whether during secondary school or college. I enjoyed both. So less to think about problems of life. Not to think of house rentals, whether my children will excel in school, where my husband is and so on. All I need to think were whether my assignments is good enough for the lecturers, can I send it on time, what's my exam result going to be and would I make it through? Much more simple questions to answer rather than with career and marriage life.

My friends and I used to spend the whole day at water theme park just to ease our tension for the upcoming exams. Or we might just go for a shopping trip. That time our favourite place was either Sungai Wang Plaza or Bukit Bintang Plaza. Movies were always up-to-date. I think I was going for the movie mostly every week! Oh.. how I long for those days.

But those days remained those days. We need to grow up and take life as it is. Take it slow or fast, it depends on ourselves how we deal with it. Life experiences are the lessons which teach us how to be mature. How to overcome problem that occurs. The lessons we attended in classes are to enhance our decision making. That is my opinion.

Well, I think most of us enjoy the student life as well. That was the time when we live life at the fullest. Do whatever things we want to do. And those were the days.......

A Missed Miscarriage

I have made a self test on pregnancy somewhere in early June and it turns out positive. Was is a surprise? Yes it was. I wasn't sure that I was pregnant as I thought my PCOS has returned. But since it was a positive test, then I'm happy.

I made a first visit to a normal clinic to confirm. But at that time the doctor estimated I was about in my 5th weeks of pregnancy and she is so sure she won't see anything thru scan but I want to give a try. And I did. True enough what the doctor said, couldn't confirm anything. I decided to wait at least 2 weeks later to have another round of scan. Two weeks came and go, I failed to go to the clinic. Due to some petty problems like fatigue and so on. But I've started the morning or sometimes evening sickness. Vomiting after each meal and feeling so cold on a very hot day. This has carry on till the last day of my pregnancy.

Last Thursday, 24th June 2010, my hubby forced me to go to the clinic and since my regular gynae has closed down his clinic for a relocation, I've decided to go to another one. The clinic is Poliklinik Umra and it's open in the evening for a checkup with the specialist. How convenience.

I was being lectured by the doctor who saw me. He said, why do I wait this long to come and see him. I have no particular answer to give so I just smiled. And he told my husband, it is not good to wait till 2 months to come and see the doctor as there might be other complication can occur. Okay, lesson 1.

When he learnt that the first doctor I went to see did not prescribed me any folic acid, again he is annoyed. He said folic acid is the most crucial vitamin to be consume once the pregnancy is confirmed. Lesson 2.

He asked permission to scan and we have no objection. At the first look, he said he is not happy. The sac is there but he cannot see the embryo. He said there are 2 ways determining, to wait for another week to see the progress or the fastest way is do a blood test. Since the Karambunai trip is so near, we decided on the blood test. And asked us to come back on Saturday.

We went to the clinic again on Saturday. He scanned for another round and asked the expert to do a vaginal scan. Both of them confirmed whatever they are confirming. And the doctor invited us to another room for a chat session he said. And I thought there must be something amiss.

True enough. He told us, what I'm experiencing is missed miscarriage or the scientific name is Anembryonic Pregnancy. In normal language, the sac is there but somewhere in between, the embryo never developed. He was 99.9% sure from the first time he scanned me. But he doesn't to say it that time because that was our first time meeting each other and it will not look good. He said I need to take it out and explained how the procedure will take place. It sounds scary and he ensure me that I will not feel anything as I will be put on sleep. My hubby asked me to do it the very next day. If we were to wait, what happen if it occur a day before our trip to Sabah or when we are there? It can be worse.

Sunday came and with a anxious feeling. Scared as well. But hubby was there with me. Ensuring that everything will be alright. The last picture in my mind before the procedure is when the doctor jab me with the anesthetic med and I woke up in the ward. As if nothing has happened. And the nurse is kind enough to put my handphone in my palm. I remembered talking to my hubby telling him I'm already in the ward as before. He was at the office as he has made few appointments with his customer. We weren't expecting this to happen so he has to go. I don't mind. He couldn't do much when I was in the operation theater anyway. I don't know how many times I woke up and dozed off again. At last about 5pm, I managed to wake up properly with a little bit of dizziness and check myself out.

Here I am at home resting and recovering. Hopefully everything goes well in future.

Whats New

Bukan tak nak update blog ni. Tapi rasa macam tak de apa yg betul-betul "happening" for me to update. Except few things that are insignificant.

I manage to get approval for a loan I've applied to clear out my name. So the song "Gali Lubang by Salih Yacob" is very kena-mengena. He he he.. What to do. I actually took a day leave last Monday just to have everything settled. And the irony is I've forgotten to call them up. Will do tomorrow morning.

And I'm in the quest of searching a home to rent. The one I'm having now is a danger house. The walls have cracks which doesn't look good anymore. Especially in my bedroom. You can in fact, slot a 50 sen coin in it. But since my Hubby is working every weekends, the quest is yet to fulfilled. Hopefully we'll find one soon enough.

And I did not go and see my gynae for the follow-up check-up. Couldn't stand the injection I'm going to receive again and again. Hopefully everything goes well.

Nite nite everybody. Thanks for stopping by.

Ketiak Oh Ketiak!

Last weekend hubby and me decided to watch a movie. Since we can't even remember the last movie we watched. We do have some wish list movies to watch but because of the time and some other factors, we couldn't make it happen.

As you can guessed, the movie we wanted to watch is Iron Man 2 but we couldn't get the ticket even sitting right in front of the screen. Since I've watched Losers movie trailer in a TV programme, I suggested to hubby. We managed to get the couple seats.

While waiting the cinema ready to be seated, we queued for popcorn and some other things. End up, the food actually cost more than the ticket! And while we waited for our food, there were some commotion coming from behind of us. It seemed that a group of gang was having some problem with another. The other gang were actually patrons of the cinema. The bad gang came right behind of the good one and start punching him till they nailed him to the poster box. The consequences? The glass for the box shattered which irritates the theater manager. How do I know which is bad and which is good? I'm making assumptions. Because the patrons did not actually fought really hard. He managed to punch back few times and walked away straight to the movie theater. While the other kept on calling names and eventually walked away as well. Thank god!

When our turn to go into the movie, we managed to find our seats just nice and there were a young Malay couple. Both smiled at us. And we settled ourselves. Suddenly this conversation striked between us:

Hubby : You ada bau masam tak?
Me : Bau masam as in bau ketiak ke?
Hubby : Ha aa.
Me : Ada, ada (impatiently agreeing).

Then I looked to his side and saw the boy actually put his hands upwards and resting it behind his head. Now we know where the smell come from. And being Mr Hubby, he is very impatient in this kind of thing.

Hubby : Bau ni sampai ke tempat u ke? (I was seating one seat further from that boy).
Me : Yup!

And since he couldn't stand it at all and movie has yet to start, he directly said this, "Bau masam la woi. Tutup la yang mana patut." Thank God again the boy understood. And the girl selamba sardin peluk the boy! Huh! If I were her, sorry!

We managed to watch the movie till the end without any more distraction of smells. However, Hubby said the boy was actually fondling the girl's breast and he managed to give them few stares. Ha ha ha....

The movie is entertaining. I wouldn't mind to watch it another round.

I've Failed!

I've failed again despite of the tonnes of vows I've made to myself. I've vowed I'll update my blog regularly but still I didn't do it. Instead of the tonnes vows I have, my laziness has overcome it. Ohhh.. and how I hate it. I'll try to make it more regularly from this moment.

For those who has followed my PCOS thingy... I'm still having it. My female hormones still not up to the standard. What else I could do? Anyone know?

And March 2010 is my first anniversary working with my current employer. So far so good. My workload is adding and I don't mind about it. I just love to work. Even though there was someone told me my workload is not that much compared to him. Huh... Well, for a start, he has some title in office and of course his workload is more than me. Why are you complaining?

There were so much things happen to me and I don't know whether I should be writing it here. I might be getting myself into trouble. Ha ha ha.. Someone give such a subtle threat to me few days back just because he/she is having a very close relationship with the tops. If you are having that close relationship, then why are you backing out? I just hate this kind of office politics.

Nevertheless, that wouldn't affect my work. I'm a tough person. I know where I'm standing. And as long as I can finish up my work, then I'll be safe. Insya Allah. God help those in needs. Am I right? Just pray to him. Without any doubt. He'll help you.

Soo peeps, have a nice weekends.

P.C.O.S

Hmm... I haven't update my blog for some time now. I am so hooked up with work load. By the time I reached home, feel like doing nothing. And during weekend, sangat la bestnya kalau dapat bermalas-malasan... I got the chance for last CNY holidays. My ironing load also quite high than usual. Ha ha ha...
But I do make time to see my gynae for follow-up check on my problem. Last I met him on 13.2.2010. And this time round he is 100% sure it is the PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Besides his not so brief explanation, he does ask me to search it in the net. So far I've found this forum from Dr Hamid Arshat's site. So here is some sharing info for all you readers. Do let me know if you have any tips how to overcome it. I'll let u know other information once I've read every single article I've found.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) & Kesuburan Wanita
Apakah tanda tanda penyakit Polycystic Ovary?
In terms of the tanda-tanda, I have all the signs except no. 1 & 5. Instead of having extra hair, I'm losing quite a lot. And I hope I'm recovering soon. Dah tak larat nak kutip rambut2 yang bersepah bila sikat.
So I hope, with this info, I'm helping me and others as well. Feel free to contact me if you want to share your experience or anything.
And do drop me comments! Thank you for reading.

A New Year A New Beginning

Happy new year everyone. I feel so much blessed. I am thankful to Allah, I'm still here in these new years. 1431 Hijrah and also 2010, Insya-Allah. I changed my career path in 2009 and hopefully more good opportunities will drop by for me and my family. I'm not searching for new job though. Semoga diberikan rezeki yg murah dan berkat, dikurniakan kesihatan sentiasa dan kehidupan yang bahagia di dunia dan akhirat. Amin.

I just started working last Monday after a short break before Xmas. And when I reached office that Monday morning, I just found this box on my table. Wonder what box it is and whether has been wrongly placed on my table, I don't know. So I was so very glad when my name was on the box. I was so happy, and of course I opened it immediately. And tadaaaaaaa....

The big one is the 2010 diary and the smaller one is the memo pad plus the stick-on notes. It is a gift from my company.

Then the weekends, we spent a few hours to search for school uniform. Bougt it at Carrefour. Stationeries will be on later dates as I don't want the kids to tag along. So many pilihan and demands. Mummy will go crazy! Ha ha ha...

Lastly, me and family would like to wish everyone...

A New Year is A New Beginning
Be Cautious for Upcoming Challenges
